Lulu is a creative and precious first-grader from Milwaukee. Lulu was just 5 years old when her parents too her to the doctor after a series of bruises and nosebleeds. A routine blood test confirmed the worst, and she was rushed to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin where, that very day, she began treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Throughout little Lulu’s time in treatment, she described the emotional roller coaster she and her family endured as “storms and rainbows.” Thanks to the lifesaving care provided to Lulu and her family, she weathered the storm and completed her treatment protocol. Now she is looking forward to many more rainbows.
