Lillian’s Story

Lillian was born at just 30 weeks, weighing just a little more than a pound. For the first six years of her life, Lillian suffered through numerous undiagnosed symptoms and traveled from hospital to hospital. Then her parents took her to¬†Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, where the Genomic Medicine Clinic found a mutation in her DNA that causes Trichohepatoenteric Syndrome.

Without the Genetics & Genomics Program at Children’s Hospital, Lillian’s family may have never figured out what was keeping her from thriving. We are proud everyday to support Children’s Hospital through Louie’s Last Regatta. #ItsForTheKids
